2.4 Goods of EMM

The goods traded in the EMM are, first and foremost, candidacy (the publicly accessible part of the CV of the Job Seeker) and vacancy (the publicly accessible part of Job Offers), as pictorially represented in Fig. 3.

Figure 3 is the starting point for building a reference glossary that is necessary to derive the domain ontology, defining terms belonging to the Domain Objects Description. The main concepts are as follows.1. CV: A CV is a description produced by a Job Seeker for self introduction or for job application. It contains Personal Information (hidden for privacy reasons when circulated in the SEEMP network, until a match is found and the citizen gives his/her consensus to disclose personal data), and various data (see Fig. 3) regarding his skills, education and expectations. In particular, the CV is treated in SEEMP anonymously by circulating the so called Candidacy, which is a structured set of Personal Information, which includes the following fields:(a) Education History: A set of Education Descriptions constitutes an Education History, describing the courses, classes, etc., attended by the Job Seeker along time. It can be encoded using Education History from the HR-XML recommendation.
